Overview

A React app, also packaged for Android with Capacitor, with a daily safe-to-spend runway, roommate food splits that generate UPI QR codes, a mess-vs-delivery leak tracker and a “Can I afford this?” simulator.
The problem
Budget apps assume a monthly salary. Students live on an allowance, so RupeeNova counts the days to the next deposit and shows what is safe to spend today.
How it works
Most budgeting apps are built around a salary. RupeeNova starts from how students actually get money: an allowance that has to last until the next one.
It works out a daily safe-to-spend amount from what is left and the days remaining, splits food orders between roommates and generates UPI QR codes to settle up, tracks how much goes on delivery compared with the mess, and answers “Can I afford this?” before you buy.
It is a React web app that also ships as an Android app through Capacitor.
