The problem
Group chats mix every notification and let anyone join. Clanect is a verified, single-section network for one engineering class.
How it works
Clanect is an app only for classmates. Instead of a group chat anyone can be added to, students request access and the class representative approves them from a dashboard; the app unlocks the moment they are approved.
Inside there is class chat, live polls and urgent broadcasts that stand out from everyday messages. It runs on Firebase Realtime Database, so everything updates instantly, and installs to the home screen as a progressive web app.
